Within the past few years, Shania Twain has been so fun and daring with her transformations. While she’s continued to be a brunette throughout it all, she’s experimented with different colored wigs that show off her free spirit. To say we’ve been obsessed would be an understatement. And along with each new transformation, we’ve wondered: will she do a new hairdo that isn’t a wig? And the answer is, yes! Her latest transformation not only makes her look unrecognizable but it’s such an unexpected, colorful change!
Hair stylist Dimitris Giannetos shared a photo of Twain on Feb 9, showing her daring hair transformation. He shared the photo to his Instagram with the caption reading, “SHANIA TWAIN ♥️ Blush locks for legendary @shaniatwain! As you can see in the photo above, Twain has ditched her iconic brown hair for a blush-toned pink hairdo with her long locks. Along with the peachy pink tone throughout, she’s keeping some of her roots visible at the top (and, to be honest, we’ve always loved that trend).
She looks so cosmically cool and we think this look totally suits her!
Now, why the sudden colorful colors? In a previous interview with E! News, Twain talked about how going gray inspired her to experiment with fun colors she loves. She said, “Over the years, I have had many different styles. I’m playing more with color right now and I’m enjoying that because I’m going gray.”
