Prince William might be dealing with a lot amid King Charles’ cancer diagnosis and Kate Middleton’s abdominal surgery recovery but it looks like he won’t be leaning on younger brother Prince Harry for support any time soon.
Despite Harry making a brief trip to visit his father after the king’s diagnosis was made public, William is continuing to avoid his brother and a reconciliation seems further away than ever. Insiders who spoke to InTouch Weekly claim that William did not have a positive reaction to Harry’s UK visit and very deliberately steered clear of him.

“William is in no rush to spend time with Harry,” said the insider. “The brutal bottom line is that he could easily have seen him but declined because he feels it’s too little, too late.”
Unbothered about his brother’s UK visit, William has been making a slow return to his public duties all while balancing being there for his wife and kids, and stepping up for his father — a balancing act that he is already facing backlash over as some critics claim he is ducking out of key royal duties.

Meanwhile, Harry’s brief 45 minute reunion with his father reportedly went well and the pair continue to be on good terms despite Harry and William’s continued estrangement. However, insiders insist that Harry and Charles’ improved relationship does not mean the Duke of Sussex will be making a return to the royal family any time soon.
“Meghan staying behind is a very clear sign there’s no chance of Harry returning to the fold,” the insider told In Touch. “He’s adamant the U.S. is his home now.”
“Harry was absolutely devastated to learn the cancer news,” said the insider. “Despite their estrangement, Harry’s love toward his father hasn’t wavered.” The source concluded: “It goes without saying he’s terrified of losing his only remaining parent, even though everyone — Harry included — is extremely optimistic about the king’s prognosis.”
